This is Book Five, and was made as the fifth memoir of a collection for my senior project at Goddard College.

This "video" or "book" is a collection of my most impressive photographs from the past four years. The slideshow takes the viewer through daily routines in a multi-cultural collage spanning from south east Asia to Latin America to eastern Europe. Through tri-lingual (English, Spanish and German) layered audio and poignant images, this story touches on the ups and downs of being a modern nomad or someone who is constantly in transience, and moving and traveling around the world through multiple spaces and languages. Many of the photographs that follow or precede one another are meant to be comparative-
specifically in an image sequence of food and shoes.

Although it is obviously a personal and travel memoir infused project, not once does the viewer actually see my face or a full self-portrait. The idea is seeing the world through my eyes and my voice. Further, while the voice over and narration is somewhat mundane and non complex, I thought that was appropriate due to the barrage of images that accompany.
This slideshow is at once rich and sensitive and represents much of what a true traveler experiences.
